Acer palmatum ‘Tsukasa Silhouette’ is an exciting new columnar Japanese maple that brings big fall colors to even small garden spaces. Tsukasa Silhouette was introduced in Japan by Yutaka Tanaka. In 2008, our good friend and nurserymen legend, Don Shadow named this selection in the United States. The first word of the name (Tsukasa) for the nursery of its origin and second word (Silhouette) describing the amazing slender shape. Mature size is 15-20 ft tall/6-7 ft wide Hardy in zones 5-9 Full Sun Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit.
