This is a made to order product. lead times are listed at the top of the website pages for your convenience, but typically I have a handful of these in stock and they just need to have the finish that you request applied to them. So lead time is typically just a week or two. This is Something that was customer requested and I feel could be a product that everyone enjoys. This is a back spacer filler for lack of a better term. Ive been told that the liners on some knives are uncomfortable in the hand, so a filler is sometimes wanted. 100% made in the USA, in Idaho, by me... Jake Hoback When I received this request I had no idea there was much of a market for this sort of thing. So I started this project with the same level of detail that I start all my design projects. I started taking lots of measurements on my meteorology equipment of a PM2. From that point I started designing in 3d parametric CAD and then onto 3d printing the first parts on my industrial carbon fiber 3d printer for testing. After initial testing was complete I then moved into making a couple test parts on my vertical machining center in 6061T6 aluminum. After a couple weeks of back and forth I decided to start making these in grade 5 titanium. Once the parts come off the CNC mill, they move onto hand finishing and deburing. Specs: Fits all Spydrco Paramilitary 2 (except the PM2 Cru-Wear/micarta) Grade 5 titanium, 1/4" thick CNC machined to fit you knife perfectly. Hand finished to make sure its JUST right.
