This compact coffee table is made from live edge Japanese elm with a single walnut butterfly closure that serves function + aesthetic. The base is made from a single branch of pine that came down in the artist's backyard during Hurricane Sandy + the creamy, polished grain in the slab of elm looks like flame flowing up through the wood. Handmade + held at the artist's woodshop in Garnerville, NY. All are welcome to view this piece or other pieces in production. Please see 'details' below.
