"Love Conquers All" Mounted Antlers

Urnes beast with Runes and Icelandic stave for ending strife. Pyrography partial deer skull mount from Germany. The Urnes style beast is taken from the Upland runic Inscription 997, however, the inscription has been changed to Virgil's quote “Love conquers all things, so we too shall yield to love," (from rune inscription found in Bryggen Norway, dated ca. 1248). A complimentary mash-up with the Icelandic stave for ending strife is burned onto the wooden plaque.  Antlers alone are 5" inches long. The wooden plaque is 8 x 4 1/2 inches. *This is a reclaimed vintage mount from Germany.
