The hose washer is made of high strength tensile steel and is heat treated and powder coated for years of service. It can be used for cloth or rubber type hose. The inlet is female for connection to a hose or directly to a hydrant. Just feed the hose in one end and out the other. The water flow in the smaller unit feeds the hose through with almost no help, the larger unit requires hose to be fed through manually. Heavily soiled hose can be pulled back and forth through the washer for extra cleaning.
