Tallow Balm

This all natural body balm will make your skin feel absolutely amazing! A super simple skin loving combination of tallow, extra virgin olive oil and essential oils can be applied anywhere to smooth rough, dry skin. Why is tallow so good for your skin? Good question!  Tallow contains molecules more closely matching our skin oils than vegetable oils do. It also contains those fat soluble vitamins we need such as A, D, E, and K which the skin absolutely loves to soak up! But it doesn't stop there folks! It also has an abundance of conjugated linoleum acid, which has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and palmitoleic acid, which has antimicrobial characteristics.* I make sure to dilute all essential oils to a skin safe 2% and all are safe for kids - I use them on my own kids 5, 3 and 1, BUT always test on a small patch of skin first to test for reaction before applying liberally. Lavender is a great option for every day use, and since lavender is such a wonderful oil for skin, it's a perfect baby bum ointment to help with diaper rash or redness. Tea Tree and Cedarwood are also two powerhouse oils that are great for skin and offer a more masculine scent which makes a perfect gift for the guy in your life. Boo-boo balm is what I use on all of my kids bruises, cuts and scrapes as well as any bug bites.  Tea tree and lavender essential oils are used in conjunction with olive oil that has been infused with comfrey and plantain which are found on my property and have amazing skin soothing properties.  Headache balm is created with home grown rosemary infused olive oil in conjunction with pure Peppermint essential oils to help ease headache symptoms.   All of my tallow balms are able to be customized to your liking, so if you would like a specific blend of oils, let me know, and if they are skin safe I can make it happen! *I am required by the FDA to make the following statement:  These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration .
