We request that the protectors outwardly remove all external obstacles, inwardly purify the five afflictive emotions into the five wisdoms, and secretly remove obstacles to receiving the ordinary and extraordinary siddhis (spiritual accomplishments) in order to attain fully enlightened buddhahood for the benefit of all beings.
