Detroit Series 60 14L Engine Overhaul Kit

Interstate-McBee has added to our extensive Detroit Diesel® Series 60 model engine coverage with the stocking of the 14L Forged Steel One Piece Pistons. These pistons are included in the engine kits listed below and afford our customers a competitive alternative for the latest design phase of the Series 60 production run from 2007 to 2010. Engine Kits feature: Forged steel one piece pistons with a longer skirt profile for reduced wear and scuffing and greater durability. Interstate-McBee cylinder liners with our patented top liner cooling design which decreases heat retention which leads to less wear. Premium coated top fire ring for greater durability. Rectangular groove compression ring which reduces blow-by and oil consumption. Gasket set components made of top grade material for improved seal ability.
