Like the Zildjian K/Z Hihats…but DIFFERENT.  Here’s a unique pair of Sabian Hihats that were custom put together for their blended sonic characteristics.  Sabian FREQ HHX CLICK 14” Combo Hihats. The Top Cymbal is an AAX FREQ Top and the Bottom is a Sabian Duo style HHX CLICK HAT Bottom.  You get the best of both worlds from this pairing.  Combined these two 14s” have a crisp and articulate stick attack with just a hint of that HHX Hand Hammered complexity and warmth. The Freq Hihat lends a scoped out tightness with a pinch of complexity. And the HHX Click Hat has the unlathed portion which offers a pinch of dryness to these combo 14s”. 997 and 1256 grams provide a New Beat philosophy strong CHICK tone. Tight and focused for lower volume settings. Open them up for a full slosh that cuts without being ham-fisted.  The wash is fairly quick, compliments of that Freq Hat Top.  Controlled under the mic and definitely cutting live without CLANKING!  No issues
