And you can hear it so you can buy with confidence.  Raw, unlathed, Hand Hammered  HUGE 22” Istanbul Mehmet SWISH 22 - you never see these factory Swishes.  Gorgeous low profile with a subtle sweeping China Swish shape.  At a VERY THIN 1720 grams this massive 22” is organic, earthen, dark, dry with a semi-complex “aaaaaahhhhhh” tone.  Very responsive compliments of the thinner weight, quick, biting attack when needed with a fairly quick decay. Stunning craftsmanship with copper - sienna hues, l rife with Hand Hammering throughout. Perfect as an alternate Ride - a la Mel Lewis but more dry and organic sounding.
