Hinge Reinforcement Kit

To make your door even stronger replace the standard hinge screws (usually less than 1 inch long) with longer screws to get a deeper bite into the door frame. We recommend that every customer who purchases a lock from us, add these to their door setup to increase the overall strength of the entryway. Our Hinge Reinforcing Kits contains 12 Black, 3 inch long, #9 Twinfast Flathead Phillips screws. #9 is the standard size hinge screw. You will need a drill or impact driver with a #2 Philips bit (#2 is the most common size). Replace one screw at a time for easier installation.
