THE DEVILS OWN - THE TORRYBURN WITCH

The Torryburn Witch, Lilias Adie, confessed to witchcraft and adultery in the early 1700s but died in prison before she could be publicly executed and burned at the stake.  She was buried on the beach of the southwest Fife coast among the muck between the high and low tide.  This was done in order to prevent the Devil from finding her rotting corpse and reanimating, but fortunately for Lilias Adie, he was able to get to her anyway.  I mean, he is Satan-- second most powerful being in existence.  So, Lilias not only was restored to living, but she ended up having a child by Satan, instilling a bloodline of half-divine, half-human witches that eventually went on to rule the underground societies of England and the U.K.  Talk about a come back.  The best part of this?  They are all immortals.  There are only about ten of them, but they are all immortals.  They have immortal power and they have immortal life.  They are super powerful and their magic, because they are part devil, part human
