I absolutely hate when people tell me that the civil war was fought over slavery.  In fact, I even hate to hear all the other theories that say that the war was fought for this reason or that reason.  The fact of the matter is that the war was staged on the forefront of the world to appear that it was an inner turmoil fought amongst one nation that had to square some issues away for itself. The result was a civil war.  Right?  Well, kind of.  The fact of the matter remains that America was shrouded in optimism and hopes of freedom upon its founded.  This was true to an extent, save for the fact that people in full control of this budding promised land was actually none other than the same group of elitists that were trying to rule the world from the beginning.
