He has also been named “Winemaker of the Year” by both Food & Wine Magazine and The San Francisco Chronicle. Steve and Jill are long time friends and mentors to Hart & Cru.  The style of this wine marries the intrigue of Cabernet Franc with the sunshine and earth of Napa, though evoking an essence that is seemingly French. The wine is aromatic, light on its feet, and spends ten months in neutral barrels.
