
Crofters Loose Loveseat
The Crofter’s collection is built much like our Craftsman style, but the sides are open, with graceful slats instead of solid panels, making these pieces visually light and airy. One of the main characteristics of Crofters pieces is the strong use of vertical spindles in the sides and backs. The general look is what many people might term “mission” style. Our Crofters sofas, loveseats, and chairs are archetypes of this genre. Traditionally made in quarter-sawn white oak, these take on a very modern and updated look when made in cherry, walnut and mahogany. You choose or supply the fabric to really compliment your décor. The loose seat version of our Crofter's collection has cushions that sit on top of the upholstered springs, and has a softer feel. The legs appear a little shorter on the loose seat version, but the top of the seat cushion is maintained at 18” off the floor.
