size 3/4” Described in 2003 by Dr. Günter Schmidt in honor of Jean Michel Verdez who was the first to consider this a new Brachypelma (Tliltocatl now) species. At the time at his species was often confused with Aphonopelma pallidum. Easy to keep species that grows to 5” as adults. A terrestrial spider from Mexico that is often over looked by collectors.
