size subadult, around 3/4” Really neat smaller species that mimics an ant in the earlier stages of its life. Later stages in life they start to turn a beautiful green and grow wings. They will feed on baby crickets and fruit flies and are easy to keep and breed in captivity. Known from humid forest of Southeast Asia, and described in 1871 by  Swiss zoologist Henri de Saussur.
