This purple ruby necklace is made with a large cut of natural star ruby. It has a nice pattern in the top just right of center and displays a silver flash when moved in sunlight. Stones of this type are not usually this size. This is a large cut that we set in a medallion like setting of solid sterling silver .925. We did not cut this stone to exhibit a star pattern as we prefer the round shape for this piece and honestly I like the silver flash. There's not really another stone that looks like these. The included chain is natural black leather with silver components. This pendant is 1.45 inches tall including the bail. The chain is about 20 inches in length.
