Royal Imperial Jasper Cabochon, Earth Tones, Teardrop Cabochon for Wire Wrapping, Jewelry Making

This beautiful teardrop is cut from Royal Imperial jasper from Mexico. Royal Imperial is one of the five fine jaspers. This is a premium cut with gorgeous colors. I cut this stone to show the pattern similar to agate. This is polished on all sides so it's a candidate for an open back or wire wrapping. This stone measures: 1.13 H x .76 W x .28 thickness in inches or 28.8 x 19.3 x 7 in mm Stone cabochons can have natural imperfections. I work to limit or eliminate them in the stones I cut but you should keep in mind that natural stones are seldom perfect.
