
Teepee Canyon South Dakota Agate Sterling Silver
This agate hails from South Dakota and is known as a Teepee Canyon agate. Some also do call them South Dakota Dry Head agate not to be confused with the Montana version. This agate formed in voids in light brown chert. This piece is a beautiful medium-dark orange with great patterns. These agates are uncommon so you don't see them as jewelry very often. I cut the stone in a domed teardrop and set it in solid sterling silver. The pictured 20 inch chain is also solid sterling silver. If you love the pendant but don't need a chain choose the "pendant no chain" option. This pendant measures about .97 x .50 inches or is about 25 mm tall.
