Lemon Bacopa is a pretty low growing pond plant that will also grow as a semi-submerged plant for trailing over edges of rocks or cascading down a waterfall. It is an edible herb used for seasoning and the leaves smell of lemon when crushed. Tiny five petal blue flowers will bloom all summer long. Plant in a medium container in moist soil or in water 1 inch over the crown. Easily cultivated by cuttings from the stems. Easy to winter over in colder climates. Take some cuttings before the first frost in your area, put in a vase of water and place in a bright sunny window indoors.
