• The KPMI® Solid Tappet Conversion Valve Spring kit for the Maverick X3 replaces the OEM hydraulic tappet tappet unit with a lightweight precision manufactured solid unit.• By removing the OEM hydraulic unit, considerable weight savings are made. This allows the KPMI® valve spring kit to control the valvetrain at higher boost pressures, higher RPM’s and with larger camshafts.• The KPMI® solid tappet is CNC machined from high tensile strength bar stock, heat treated, ground and lapped for a precision unit.• The lightweight titanium retainer included is designed to house a standard Ø7.5mm lash adjustment shim.
