Cold Process Lard Soap: Oat and Herb

Our soap bars are made with American-made sodium hydroxide and lard. The lard I rendered myself from pigs I raise on forage in our woods and on pasture. It has an amazing lather and lasts a long time! These bars have organic certified gluten-free oats, chamomile, and calendula flowers. A touch of raw honey is added when the soap has cooled enough, in order to preserve the natural enzymes within the honey.  There are no essential oils or scents added to this bar, making it a great choice for those who are very sensitive. It is excellent for gentle exfoliating and for soothing skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. Chamomile and calendula are calming to red and irritated skin and promote healing. This bar also makes an excellent face wash bar. We've even washed our dog with it.
