Saturday 8/2 11am: DIY Flower Press Workshop

On August 2nd at 11am we will hold a workshop where you can create your own flower press. It is perfect for preserving late summer blooms and fall leaves!   Each press comes with four wooden layers that sandwich pressing paper.  Add your blooms between the paper layers and apply gentle pressure using the wingnuts.  (Don't worry - we'll show you how!) After about one week you'll have beautiful blooms ready to enjoy!   Each press can come with a design etched on the top.  You may choose to keep your top plain, decorate free hand, or use one of the etched options.  They are easy to paint with our paint markers which will be available during the workshop. This workshop is beginner friendly and perfect for children or adults, however each participant should have their own project. If you cannot attend the workshop you can still order and create during our walk in hours.
