String of Watermelons - 6"
Senecio herreianus, commonly known as String of Watermelons or String of Beads, is a succulent plant with trailing stems adorned with small, bead-like leaves that resemble watermelons. Here are some care tips to help you keep your Senecio String of Watermelons healthy and thriving: Light: Senecio String of Watermelons thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning or late afternoon, but intense sunlight can scorch the leaves. Provide filtered sunlight or place the plant near a window with sheer curtains. Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C) during the growing season. In winter, the plant can tolerate slightly cooler temperatures down to 50°F (10°C). Protect it from cold drafts and frost. Watering: Water your Senecio String of Watermelons thoroughly when all of the soil is dry. Allow excess water to drain away, as the plant is sensitive to waterlogged soil. Reduce watering frequency in winter when growth slows.
