The Youth Risk Management Program sets out to define the unique risks that organizations face when conducting youth related activities and events, whether for minors or for young adults; and to provide the knowledge and tools by which to protect young people as a first priority, as well as the participant’s family, those adults involved within the event, and the wider interests of the organization hosting or running an activity. This program addresses the areas of business resiliency and continuity in terms of managing youth related risks; and following an incident the interests of the young people involved, their families, the involved adults, and finally the organization’s reputation and business interests.
