SM005_English: Travel Risk Management: Planning and Conducting Safe and Secure Travel

Travel risk management is a cornerstone for the organizational management of risk, as travel presents a period of elevated risk for all organizations. This leadership training course assists organizations in understanding the risks associated with travel (especially land-based movements), enabling management teams to effectively plan and conduct safe travel practices. The module establishes the responsibilities and priorities of the operations or fleet manager for travel planning, taking those leading travel risk management through a systematic approach to travel planning, including route selection, threat analysis, infrastructure support en-route, communications protocols (including reporting protocols), equipment needs and emergency response protocols in the event of an incident, or where vehicles and people have gone missing.
