CI00A_English: Investigations and Evidence Management Package

This training package combines two courses on investigations and evidence gathering management. Often management teams lack experience and the necessary qualifications to conduct or lead an investigation appropriately and confidently, but circumstance may require them to do so. Or, they may need to contract a commercial investigation resource, or engage with police authorities. As such, it is critical that managers understand the process for interviews and investigations management, and the risks associated with mishandling an incident. Understand how to identify deceit, while retaining the integrity of the process and ensuring that potential perpetrators are accorded due respect, is an important part of the process. In addition, the methodology by which to appropriately gather information during an investigation, in a manner which is compliant with ethical and regulatory standards and stipulations, is critically important. The failure to manage the evidence gathering process can under
