Antique Beaded Headgear Collar

Antique Beadwork from the Qing Dynasty 1644-1911 / Republic era till 1920, this headgear is typical of a Chinese noble ladies' attire, often portrayed in classic Chinese paintings. This piece is solid beading featuring birds and geometric patterns. It is in excellent condition with a button in the center which can be worn in front or back as well as a buttons on each end. Worn modernly, It fits around the neck and wears nicely as a collar / neck adornment.  16" x 3 1/2"
