By using slightly hotterwindings, wax potting, and Alnico 5 magnets, our ‘60s Strat set delivers a warm low-end, vocal mids,and sweet, bell-like highs that hold up beautifully to reverb and gain. Because everything counts, we use black top/grey bottom bobbins and pencil-stamped date markings found on the pickups of some of the most iconic ‘60s Strats. This set delivers the clean articulation of early Motown and the expressive phrasing of psychedelic blues in one package.
