GSR E36/46 ballast plates, the Base Plates bolt into the factory passenger side seat mount crossmembers. Plate extends rearward of the rear seat bolt holes approximately 7", and plate extends forward of the front seat bolt holes approximately 3".  Additional Top Plates can be stacked on top of these to achieve your desired ballast weight. Nuts are partially captured on the bottom to keep from spinning during torquing of upper plates to base plate.  M10 hardware to chassis(17mm socket): 33 lb-ft(included with Base Plates)1/2" Grade 8 hardware plate to plate(3/4" socket): 76 lb-ft(included with Top Plates) Bolt length and weight range:3.5" bolt: 2"-2.75" Grip range=30 lbs, 205 lbs-280 lbs3" bolt: 1.5"-2.25" Grip range=30 lbs, 155 lbs-230 lbs2.5" bolt: 1"-1.75" Grip range=30 lbs, 105 lbs-180 lbs2" bolt: .5"-1.25" Grip Range=30 lbs, 55 lbs-130 lbs1.5" bolt: 0"-.75" Grip range=30 lbs-80 lbs
