2015 Gibson Custom Shop Country Western Steel String Acoustic Guitar

This is a reissue of Gibson's iconic "Country Western" version of their Southern Jumbo model, but the 2015 remake differs a bit from the early '60s original in that it has a slightly wider neck (1 3/4" at the nut). Another difference is the double-parallelogram neck inlays are real pearl, not pearloid, an upgrade nobody will argue with. This example has been played, and has some pick and finger scuffs to the pickguard, but whoever played it had a light touch and there's almost no fret wear. It delivers that classic Gibson short-scale mahogany Dreadnought tone and rhythmic "chunk", and the LR Baggs Lyric pickup lets you easily up the volume if needed.
