Bi-Metal Hacksaw Blade, with Cobalt, 12" / 300 mm long
Bi-Metal Hacksaw Blade, with Cobalt Available in 14, 18, 24, and 28 TPI The Groz Bi-Metal Hacksaw Blades are shatter-proof efficient blades that are useful for nickel-based alloys, high-hardness steels, and other solids. These blades feature a high-speed steel cutting edge that is electron-beam welded to a tough spring steel back, resulting in a bi-metal construction that provides optimum tool life and high resistance to breakage. Cobalt enhances blade hardness to 66-68 HRC, providing higher wear resistance, and the well-formed tooth profile is precisely milled, hardened, and tempered, providing quicker, cleaner, and more efficient cuts. With a 6 teeth chip removal cycle and individual tooth setting, these blades promise nearly 30% more cutting power, and cleaner cutting, and also prevent teeth from binding in with the material being cut. These blades have a width of 1/2" (12.5 mm) and a thickness of 0.025" (0.63 mm) and are sold as a pack of 10 blades. Catalog
