Wooden Coasters - Handmade - 3 Stripes - Set of 4

These are handmade wooden coasters. It is a combination of oak, hickory and poplar wood. The oak and poplar were reclaimed from the rails of an Ohio tobacco barn. The hickory portions were repurposed from portions of a hardwood floor.  The pieces were planed and jointed together, then sanded to provide a smooth surface. A wood conditioner was applied to bring out the beauty of each coaster. Several coats of a water-based polyurethane seal were applied (with time between layers to cure) in order to give the coasters durability and longevity.
