The Everfilt SM18-2A is a fully automatic two-tank sand media filter system based on two 18-inch carbon steel tanks. It is supplied with backflush valves, an electronic controller and solenoids for automatic backflushing based on a combination of time and pressure differential. Tank interiors and interior components are epoxy-coated for years of reliable service.  The welded carbon steel radial hub underdrain, pioneered by Everfilt, balances the system hydraulically for efficient collection of filtered water. The SM18-2A is supplied with 3-inch connections and is most effective when filtering 70-90 GPM. Can be shipped fully assembled. Assembly extra. Freight is not included.
