The SRAM X01 Eagle Rear Derailleur features an updated cage architecture to provide better chain management. A 14-Tooth lower pulley makes the larger capacity possible and contributes to the smooth-pedaling feel of the Eagle 12 speed components system. The roller bearing clutch has been reworked into a Type-3 version and provides a smoother torque curve compared to previous renditions in order to provide a more consistent feel and operation. Add in the durability improvements made to the Eagle's mounting system and what we have here is a highly sophisticated bird of prey ready to seek and destroy anything that crossed its flight path.
