The CANopen Bootloader is often times a more expedient alternative to using CANopen services to provide the ability to upload changes to an Object Dictionary. This CANopen Bootloader provides the functionality to update the firmware of a CANopen device via CANopen. It was developed especially for a low flash memory footprint and still supports the necessary CANopen services (SDO, NMT slave, Heartbeat producer) and objects. It is delivered as ANSI-C source code and it is already ported to various 16- and 32-bit micro controllers.
