The holster releases by lifting the quick-disconnect tabs and turning counterclockwise. A Female QD base is used on the Rigid MOLLE Panel and a second one can be attached to a Paddle, Plate Carrier, or Belt loop for easy transfer of the holster from the Rigid MOLLE Panel to an on person carry if needed.
