Shades of the Sea - Carded Wool Batts Sampler for Needle Felting

Meet the "Shades of the Sea" wool batting sampler. This assortment includes a generous 1/2 oz. each of 6 different ocean-themed colors, for a total of 3 oz. of gorgeous wool batts: Deep Sea, Blue Spruce, Cerulean, Evergreen, Turquoise, and Sea Green. These batts make the perfect colors for felting ocean scapes and sea creatures. You can see our Deep Sea color used to create a whale in the second photo! This dyed wool batting is processed at an historic fiber mill in the U.S. The wool medium-fine, very soft to the touch, but still with plenty of crimp for felting. I use it primarily for needle felting, but it also wet felts very easily, and spins into a lovely textured yarn. I have carefully chosen this wool for its textural quality and gorgeous nuanced coloring.
