Sweet Reaper - Street Sweeper [IMPORT] – New LP

The first time on vinyl!!!  2022 pressing of debut album!!!  Originally released only on cassette.  I didn't even know this existed, but it's pretty wonderful to hear their beginnings!  It's so much like the others, and it's really quite different, tank-topped kids with strawberried knees and a buzz in their eyes, imperfection built like a board in 6th period wood shop in 7th grade, maybe showing a M.O.T.O influence that I didn't recognize on the others, skate rock and power pop poured into a drained pool with a Beach Boys show playing in the distance, hints of the Who and the Kinks showing up, maybe a bit of Eddie Cochran mixed with Cheap Trick, still sounding like a late-summer early morning skateboard ride.  I don't know, I loved the others, but this might end up being my favorite.   Get it!  It's great!  -- winch (green noise)SWEET REAPER - Street Sweeper by ALIEN SNATCH!
