Sustainable. White field blend. 14 different grapes: Gruner Veltliner, Vignoles, Sauvignon Gris, Gewurztraminer, Orange Muscat, Muscat Canelli, Muscat Ottonel, Muller Thurgau, Savagnin Rose, Kerner, Vermentino, Vidal Blanc, Schwartzman, and Isorka. Sourced from 2 vineyards – the old block at Wirtz vineyard and another vineyard (not disclosed) on the same hillside. Both are dry farmed, and Wirtz vineyard organic certified and the secret vineyard only uses spray that is approved by LIVE. Hand harvested and fermentation on its skin for 14 days until the wine is dry. Aged for 9 months in neutral French oak and further bottle aging before release. There’s 5-10% botrytis grapes due to no spray program which contributes the exotic nature of the wine. Unfined and unfiltered. 140 cases produced.
