A top-tier old vine Beaujolais-Villages from a densely planted, early ripening sector. This super value is supple, succulent and very pretty.  1,000 cases producer annually.   TastingNotesDark violet. Spice-tinged red and dark berries, licorice and a hint of smokiness on the pungent nose and in the mouth. Broad and chewy in texture, showing good heft and a floral quality that emerges with air. The smoky note comes back strong on the long, youthfully tannic finish, which leaves a suggestion of bitter cherry behind.
