Product information Muller-Thurgau was created in Switzerland in the 19th century as a hardy, early-ripening grape for table wines. It is now the most widely grown grape in Germany. Did we mention it’s in a LITER? 33% more wine! No garden party or picnic is complete without two or three of these in the cooler.  Producer information The timbered home that houses this family-owned estate in Hainfeld was built in 1619. In 1990 Annette Borell and Thomas Diehl married and create Borell-Diehl. Their 15 hectares of vineyards are a complex geology of loess, limestone, red sandstone, and lots of minerally muschelkalk (limestone). Rigorous crop thinning and hand harvesting are the norm here.
