The Voidz - Like All Before You

Following his success with The Strokes in the early 2000s, Julian Casablancas embarked on a new musical journey in 2014, driven by the same desire to push boundaries that had defined his early career. This led to the formation of The Voidz, a band that embodies his vision of edgy, eclectic, and aggressive music designed for mainstream consumption while challenging conventional norms. The inception of The Voidz traces back to Julian's search for kindred spirits in music. During his solo live touring for Phrazes for the Young in 2010, he connected with Alex Carapetis (drums), Jeff Kite (keys), and Jake Bercovici bass/keys). This core trio expanded with the addition of Alex's old neighbor and friend Beardo (guitar) and Jake's former bandmate Amir Yagmai (guitar). The instant chemistry among these six musicians, both musically and personally, cemented the foundation of The Voidz.
