Hand Forged towel bar hammered rustic cabin farmhouse modern swaged bend style

A minimalist, yet beautiful hand forged towel / washcloth holder for your bathroom, kitchen or wherever you want to place it! These come in many different lengths as listed and are forged from 3/8" round stock. Each piece is coated with locally sourced beeswax to protect it. -- SIZE --The gap from the wall is approximately 2.25". When picking the size, please know that the listed size is approximately* end to end length give or take 1/4" or so either direction, NOT the length of the area where you hang towels. The screw holes are 1" shorter than the overall length and the usable area is about 3 inches shorter than the end to end length.-- FINISHING AND TEXTURE -- There are 3 finishes, DARKENED - which is close to a black color. (The main photo in the listing is darkened - minimal)STEEL - which is a lighter steel to grey color. RAW - which is the color that comes straight from the forge, it is close to a grey to dark grey. The raw might also have some little spots of dark maroon / orange, this is oxidization from forging.There are also 3 textures,  MINIMAL - is when the steel is kept smooth and has little to no hammer texturing. (The main photo in the listing is darkened - minimal)NORMAL - is how I make almost all my items, there is a hammered look and feel but not over the top, just right. HEAVY - has very noticeable hammer marks, looks very rough and rustic.  -- NOTE --The darkened finish is superior to the steel finish in terms of water resistance. If you are putting very wet towels on them I suggest getting the darkened finish. Alternatively you could add a lacquer clear coat to the steel finish to prolong its water proofing.
