Date: c.1930sArtist: Casson, Alfred Joseph  Size (in): 29.5” x 19.5”Size (cm): 75 x 49.5    Condition: B/B-Linen backed: No This vintage original and rare poster promoting Canada’s spectacular Jasper National Park was created by the artist Alfred Joseph “A.J.” Casson and issued by the Canadian National Railways in the 1930s.  This is a silkscreen poster printed one side only on poster board.   For this poster Casson renders an image of golfers on a putting green dwarfed by a massive mountain peak of the Canadian Rockies.  Casson’s name appears at the bottom of the image along with the Canadian National Railways logo and text that reads JASPER NATIONAL PARK In the Canadian Rockies.    A.J.
