Sold by the pound (2-4 pieces per lb).  These 2-4 inch Georgetown Flint flakes and small spalls are particularly well suited for beginners for their price and size. One pound is usually 3-5 individual pieces of stone in this size range. Great for small billet work and pressure flaking, these pieces can produce small blades and points, as well as other tools. Georgetown Flint is a highly sought after knapping material because it is particularly easy to knap raw, very consistent, and the cortex often has banded layers which in contrast to the blue/grey color of the stone creates an attractive combination.
