McKesson Gelling Fiber Sterile Dressing With Antibacterial Silver  Sterile wound dressing impregnated with polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB) which kills and inhibits the growth of bacteria.  Constructed of waterproof polyurethane bacterial barrier film, hydrophilic PHMB polyurethane foam pad, and perforated wound contact layer. In-vitro testing demonstrated dressings to be effective against the following three-gram positive bacteria, three-gram negative bacteria, and two yeast challenge organisms within the dressing: MRSA, MRSE, VRE, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, and Rhodotorula mucilaginosa (known cause of fungal peritonitis in patients on continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis).  Semi-occlusive, allowing the exchange of gases such as oxygen and water vapor.  Fast wicking action and excellent absorbency for moderately to heavily exuding wounds.    Indications: Temporary management of post-surgical incisions, pressure sores, ve
