Published Piece-(see below) From late Hollywood Star's Anthony Quinn's personal collection! Beautiful 19th Century cast-brass Tibetan Minor abrasions and tarnishing to surfaces, with light encrustations within some recessed areas. Nice preservation to finer details and great patina throughout. . This stunning artifact from Central Asia, Tibet has amazing detail. Moving piece displays Amitayus Buddha, seated on an integral lotus plinth, cross-legged in meditation, while holding an intricate ambrosia vessel known as the kalasha. Buddha presents wearing a flowing skirt and a thin arm shawl as well as necklaces, bracelets, elaborate earrings, and an enormous, bejeweled crown. His eyes are cast downwards beneath sweeping brows and a central urna, with incised nostrils, full lips, and C-shaped ears comprising the remainder of his face. The kalasha holds an elixir of eternal life, the amrita, and the leaves that point over the sides are from the sacred Ashoka tree. Fine layers of patina cover
