Authentic Pre-Columbian Flute whistle with Deity or Shaman artifact. Artifact from Veracruz Culture dates circa 500-700 CE. Artifact displaying musical Instrument still make sound. A wonderful flute whistle featuring a long tube for creating sound with a conical mouthpiece and a broad openwork disc with a seated female figure on one end. She sits with her legs along the length of the whistle, her arms spread wide. She wears a skirt and large necklace as well as a delightful headdress with a beaded border and two projecting tabs. Pale blue pigment decorates her clothing and the openwork face of the flute, which has temple-shaped cutouts that divide it into six segments. Is she a priestess or shaman? A ruler? A musician?
